Preparation of Egypt–EEU free-trade zone may take up to 18 months

MOSCOW, Dec 1 (PRIME) -- Preparation of a free-trade zone agreement between Egypt and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) will take up to 18 months, Egyptian ambassador to Russia Mohammed El-Badri said at a congress on Tuesday.

“I think that this work will take up to 18 months. This is a period in which we are to prepare the agreement,” he said.

The EEU comprises Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
